Coco and Aubusson

I found this old dresser while on vacation in the heartland. I wanted to try something different. Here`s the before shot. Beat up and needed lots of attention to be put back together.
Add some Annie Sloan in Coco and Aubusson Blue.
I love it open!
Lots of dark wax.
I added the wood appliques on the front.

Vintage paper lined the drawers and I used all the original hardware.
Its still sitting in my living room. I`m still staring at it.

I must admit the color idea came from Janet theemptynest-janet.blogspot.com Janet does beautiful work and I just love her china hutch she did in these colors.
Thinking of all you on the east coast tonight, be safe.
Sharing with a few blog friends.
